Role
Join a leading name in the Nuclear sector and play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects as a Senior EC&I Engineer based in Warrington.
Our Client has a requirement for a Senior EC&I Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington.
Role Purpose:
- Manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge, and experience.
- Resolve specific technical issues and problems.
- Compile technical reports and accompanying presentations.
- Provide, review, and adhere to specifications in accordance with stakeholder requirements.
- Coach, mentor, and assist others within the discipline.
- Work independently with limited technical direction or as part of a small team.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multi-discipline teams to deliver project objectives.
- Support project managers with technical insights and risk assessments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
Essential:
- Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
- Chartered Engineer status (or actively working toward Chartered Status).
- Proven experience working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams across a variety of project types.
- Strong problem-solving ability and technical judgement across varying complexities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with other disciplines.
Desirable:
- Member of a relevant professional institute or capable of registration with the Engineering Council.
- Experience managing engineering scope for projects from concept design through to full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).
- Broad experience across commercial or defence projects.
